The Soloist Collective, in partnership with the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce/Young BK Professionals Committee, presents: "Independent professionals are the future: how we can help them succeed."
Join us as we support the growth of young professionals for an evening of networking. The event features a talk by Jack Cashion, National Coordinator of the Soloist Collective.
Come find out what a Mastermind group can do for you and your business.
We are lucky enough to have a coach who has started and helped cultivate multiple mastermind groups conducting this evening. come find out exactly what a mastermind group is, how it can be beneficial for your business, and even start forming one that very evening.
For twenty years, Rahti Gorfien has been coaching independent creative professionals such as writers, artists, healers and entrepreneurs, who are scattered and overwhelmed. Her coaching enables her clients to focus in order to grab the focus of others,
so that they profit from their passion, instead of treating it like a hobby because they're always pulled in 50 directions. Rahti has done workshops and talks for the Sarah Lawrence MFA writing program, The Con Artist Collective, The Actors Connection, Made in NY Media Center, The Freelancers Union to name a few of many organizations. She was selected by Expertise.com for the second time as one of the 15 Best Life Coaches in NYC 2018.
Since 1995, Rahti has been creating and leading successful support teams (that’s what masterminds were called before masterminds became a thing) to further her own career goals as a theater artist. The success of her peer 'team' members, due in large part to her aptitude as a facilitator, eventually resulted in Rahti founding CreativeCallingCoaching.
Rahti's presentation will enable Soloists to form and strengthen their mastermind groups in order to....
- Create a safe environment in which to deeply explore career challenges
- Achieve all desired outcomes within the time frame of the meetings
- Insure that input and suggestions are geared towards the actual needs of participants, not assumptions made by group members.
Best of all: Chapter members will have an opportunity to kick off their own mastermind groups at the event!
This is the evening edition of the Midtown Chapter meeting. Please join us for open networking followed by an hour-long formal meeting that features 10-minute presentation and discussion. We'll close with chapter business followed by more open-networking.
